Here is a quiche I made the other day that was rather tasty and healthy. I hope you enjoy! Also, I have a hot sauce in this recipe but it is not hot (the dish not the hot sauce because of course that is hot. I mean it even has hot in the name lol). The hot sauce is vinegar based sauce and balances the recipe and the pepper definitely adds the spice needed to make this a tasty dish. I do think that if it is not added it would take away from the dish and might taste bland. Acids elevate flavor. All that being said, you are the captain of your ship or in this case recipe and can make it your own. Nutrition information added at the bottom is for the ingredients listed. If you make changes then I would suggest logging each individually in a tracker app such as my fitness pal or finding the information through sites like calorie king or other nutrition websites.

Ingredients:

400 g Egg Whites

1.4 oz. Whole Milk

40 g Spinach

45 g Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

10 g. Sriracha Hot Sauce

2 g Kerrygold Irish Butter

Directions:

  1. spread the butter to coat a 9” pie pan

  2. Mix the egg whites and milk together until fully mixed

  3. add the spinach, cheese and hot sauce to the mixture and pour into prepared pie pan

  4. Bake 375 f for about 25 minutes or until set and just starting to brown on top.
