Poblano Salsa
A simple salsa recipe with lots of flavor.
Ingredients:
8 g Serrano Pepper, diced and sautéed
128 g Onions, diced and sautéed
54 g Poblano, Roasted
171 g Roma Tomato, diced
15 g Garlic, minced
8 g Cilantro
7 g Salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 f and then add the poblano and bake for 25-30 minutes. then place in a bowel and cover with plastic wrap for 10 minutes. Remove the pepper and use a paper towel to remove the skin. Cut open and remove the seeds and stem.
In a good dry nonstick pan sauté the onions and Serrano pepper until just starting to brown and the onion is starting to turn transparent.
Add the poblano, Serrano, onion, tomato, garlic, salt, and cilantro to a blender and blend to the consistency you like your salsa.
