About my recipe page
I usually would not write something to explain a recipe as if you are looking at this then you probably know how a recipe works, however I just wanted to add a note that I almost always use weight as a measurement as it is more accurate and scales more easily to your needs. In baking my formulas are sometimes based on percentages. I will do my best to give standard recipes when I can. That being said it is never a bad idea to invest in a good kitchen scale if you don’t have one especially if you are trying to meal plan or lose weight, gain weight, or just better track your intake.
Here is a link to the one I currently use Kitchen Scale with Bakers Math or some that I recommend because they have been tested and are really good. ATK recommended one and here is a budget one. Also, if you really want to be a nerd about it (like me) then I have another one that is for micro measuring. I do not go a day without using my scale.
